Community Sauna Baths Peckham
£8 a session makes it a weekly habit rather than a treat, and the regulars talk, which is the whole point of a community sauna.
What it is
Two wood-fired saunas and a shower, off grid in a tucked-away Peckham community garden, run by a not-for-profit. Sessions are £8, concessions from £5, Friday to Sunday.
When
weekly (open Friday to Sunday, 9am-8.45pm sessions, last entry 7.30pm)
Where
Peckham (Glengall Wharf Garden)
Who it’s for
People who want the sweat and the chat without spa prices. Proceeds support the garden that hosts it.
